After traffic accidents with material damage, a report must be kept by the drivers involved in the accident.
Drivers who agree among themselves can create a report themselves, without the need for traffic police.
With the digitalization of public services, this process has now become much easier.
With the new feature added to the e-Government application, minutes can be kept from a mobile phone without the need for printed documents. This innovation allows users to save time and makes the process very practical.
It can also be included in an existing report.
When "accident detection" is searched in the e-Government mobile application, the accident report tab appears. When clicking on this tab, users are directed to the minutes transactions. When you accept the terms and continue, the "create new report" option is offered. Users can create a new report or join an existing report as a party to the accident.
Through the application, drivers can add vehicle and driver information and the location of the accident to the report one by one. Additionally, all previously kept minutes can be accessed via the mobile application.
Dual-factor authentication needs to be turned on
To use the service, location information must be turned on on smartphones and double-factor authentication must be active in users' e-Government Gateway accounts.
The mobile accident reports created will be directly reflected in the Insurance Information and Surveillance Center records and will be transferred to the insurance companies' systems and the process will be initiated. Citizens will not have to bother calling the insurance company or forwarding the report to the companies.
To use the service, there must be no alcohol/drug use and death/injury during the accident, there must be no damage to public property or third parties, there must be traffic insurance, the number of vehicles involved in the accident must be 2, there must be a driver's license and it must be suitable for the type of vehicle. , the vehicle must not belong to public institutions and organizations.
